Where/When Lessons Happen

Lessons are typically done in students' homes, school (when permitted), or via Zoom.  Lessons are mostly taught in the  surrounding area of Winter Garden (Clermont, Ocoee, Windermere, etc.). For students that are outside that general area, I require full-hour lessons, or lessons taught via Zoom.

How Lessons Work

Each lesson is tailored to the individual student, typically once per week. Students will be provided a book - either published, or compiled with public domain and material I've written. This is included in the first lesson's price.

How Much Do Lessons Cost?

Full hour (60 minutes) lessons are $60 per session, and half hour (30 minute) lessons are $30. Payments can be done either by cash, check, Zelle, PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, credit/debit cards via Square, or through Quickbooks invoices emailed to you.  Payment links can be found at the bottom of this page.

Beginning in August 2022, monthly lesson payment will be due by the first lesson of that month.  Carryover payments for rescheduled lessons will be applied, and monthly payments will then be due upon the next unpaid lesson.  If lessons are completed and not paid for, Quickbooks will automatically send a reminder invoice to your email address.

Scheduling and Cancellation Policy

Emergencies happen to everyone.  To reschedule or cancel lessons please contact me as soon as you know about emerging plans.  Any lessons canceled on the day of instruction will be considered canceled and cannot be made-up. Exceptions to this policy will be considered on a case by case basis.  I'm almost always able to reschedule lessons with sufficient notice.

What Do You Need?

For all lessons students will need their trumpet, mouthpiece, and any lesson material we've compiled for you.  For Zoom lessons students must have access to a working camera, microphone and the access to Zoom via PC/Mac or Smartphone.  Zoom is free at zoom.us

I always welcome communication during the week if students have questions.
